A few months ago I did a free online myer-briggs personality test, I came up with INTP, read up on it, and was astounded at how much I fit everything. Over time however, I got confused about the name, thought I was an ENTP and started looking that up! Again, I was amazed at how about 95% of the stuff I was reading sounded…

exactly like me.

It was only about a week ago that I realised my mistake!

It’s funny though, becuase both ‘personality types’ really do sound along like me, just me in different moods. I’ve always been confused about weather I’m an introvert or an extrovert. I’ve always been very chatty and LOVED talking to people however reading, writing, art and playing flute are my favourite things to do all of which are very introverted activities. I’ve also come to realise that most people I know would probably describe me as rather emotionally reserved, and also as quiet until I get to know someone.

The conclusion I’ve come to is that I swing between both personality types depending on my mood, which actually makes me really happy, because now I don’t have to feel like a failed extrovert or a fake introvert any longer!

Oh, and the really cool thing about this?

INTP IS BASICALLY A DESCRIPTION OF SHERLOCK HOLMES.
